The nation of Panama, with over 80% being Catholic and 20% Evangelical, has a rich Christian history. This 20% Evangelical is a reason for encouragement. The Panamanian Church is ripe for focused mission mobilization. By this we do not mean merely recruiting Panamanian message bearers (alternative term for missionary) but the Panamanian Church calling believers back to their core identity as God’s multiplying, reproducing people both within the country as well as across the nations. Mission mobilization put within local churches that educates, inspires and activates believers in their assigned roles on the Great Commission. The church in Panama has a calling from the Lord to impact the world with the gospel of the Kingdom. Let’s pray for mission mobilization to be increasing in this vibrant body of Christ.
