What is the STEP Program?

The STEP Program is an 8 month, multi-faceted mission mobilization strategic training opportunity, taking place within an unreached people group context, providing a well-rounded experience focusing on Spiritual Discipleship, Tools for Mobilization, Education in Mission and Practical Office Experience. Each element serves the overall goal of empowering participants to go deep with God and learn more about their role and place in serving Him in the mission mobilization movement. 

Who is the STEP program for?

25-35 year old men and women from any national background possessing a life of discipleship, a growing passion for cross-cultural mission and mission mobilization, who are teachable, wanting to learn, grow, serve and be equipped for finding their role in serving God in the nations.

Objectives

  1. Participants experiencing God in deeper, more profound, ways then they had previously.
  2. Participants grasping the Biblical and strategic elements of mission mobilization along with how to use mobilization tools.
  3. Participants understanding the Biblical, historical, cultural plan of God in and through the Great Commission and clarifying their role in it.
  4. Participants engaging in behind the scenes office projects necessary to propel a mission mobilization ministry.

Community Life

+ Living in community with others from different cultural backgrounds
+ Sharing meals and cooking in community
+ Sharing rooms
+ Hi-Speed WIFI available throughout the facility
+ Bring your own laptop for office projects
+ Bring your own toiletries (shampoo/ conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant)

Daily Life

+ 5 office hours a day serving GMMI projects
+ Daily sessions in the Global Harvest Prayer Room
+ 2 hours a week of local outreach
+ Selected courses and teachings
+ In-depth study of God’s Word + Required readings/ reflection papers
+ Language learning
+ Personal mentoring, ongoing discipleship and pastoral oversight

Office Projects

+ Accounting/ Keeping finance books
+ Marketing and Correspondence
+ Communications
+ Administration
+ Training school logistics
+ IT/ AV Development

Program Costs

Cost: 1750 USD
Scholarships Available Upon Request

Air travel and Visa costs are separate. We will help advise you on the necessary arrangements for visa and travel depending on your nationality.
