There is a cry arising among the people of God. It is a deep desire to experientially know the risen Lord in a real, intimate manner. This cry is born of a heart that finds itself often dulled and weak as it relates with the world and with God. Something in the core of our innermost being knows that we were created for more. There is a clear plan and purpose that God has for His children.

His highest goal is that we are continually fascinated with the heights, depths, breadth and width of the essence of the character and being of His Son, Jesus Christ! As we grow in our experiential understanding of the absolute Superiority and Supremacy that this Man possesses, our hearts become saturated with a growing passion to love, please, obey and walk worthy of Him. This is the essence of the Holy Spirit’s intent through Paul’s book to the Colossians.

We want to study Colossians and allow it to teach our hearts how to love, worship and obey Jesus as “All in All”. The success of the mission movement and a return on the body of Christ’s part to our first love, have a direct correlation that cannot be overlooked.

The book of Colossians enables us to once again align our lives in abandoned devotion to our King, which produces a desire to obey Him in the Great Commission.
